Talent (free service)
For actors and actresses looking to list with DR, we will need the following additional information (see the DR "Talent"
page for examples):
- Location (City and State)
- Photo of talent (at least 100 dpi and 110 pixels wide)
- Up to 15 resume items (your choice of credits and training)
- Place of birth (optional)
- Website URL (optional)
Writers (free service)
For writers of stage, screen, books and other literature, looking to list with DR, we will need the following
additional information (see the DR "Writers" page for examples):
- Location (City and State)
- Photo of author (at least 100 dpi and 110 pixels wide)
- Up to 15 sample items (your choice of genres and education)
- Up to 12 pages of each sample item (in either MSWord or PDF formats)
- Place of birth (optional)
- Website URL (optional)
Producers & Directors (free service)
For motion picture and video producers and directors looking to list with DR, we will need the following
additional information (see the DR "Producers & Directors" page for examples):
- Location (City and State)
- Photo of producer/director (at least 100 dpi and 110 pixels wide)
- Up to 15 sample items (your choice of credits and training)
- Up to 2 trailers (in .mov file format)
- Place of birth (optional)
- Website URL (optional)
If accepted for promotion, we will obtain your trailer(s) .mov file(s) from its determined location on the Internet. Applicants will
be asked to provide the information if needed.
Composers & Songwriters (free service)
For motion picture and video producers and directors looking to list with DR, we will need the following
additional information (see the DR "Producers & Directors" page for examples):
- Location (City and State)
- Photo of composer/songwriter (at least 100 dpi and 110 pixels wide)
- Up to 15 sample items (your choice of credits and training)
- Up to 2 music samples (in .mp3 file format)
- Place of birth (optional)
- Website URL (optional)
If accepted for promotion, we will obtain your msuic sample(s) .mp3 file(s) from its determined location on the Internet. Applicants will
be asked to provide the information if needed.
Videos and DVDs
For motion picture and video producers looking to list their productions, we will need the following
additional information (see the DR "Movies" page and page titles for examples):
- List of cast and crew
- Title cover art (at least 100 dpi and 110 pixels wide)
- Synopsis
- One trailer or Five minute sample(in .mov file format)
- Website URL (optional)
If accepted for promotion, we will obtain your trailer or sample .mov file from its determined location on the Internet.
Applicants will be asked to provide the information if needed.
Although it is the policy of DR to keep an
open mind regarding the nature of the materials presented to us, we reserved the right to refuse
service to anyone, especially should their work be deemed extremely pornographic.
Once you have been notified of being pre-approved, you will receive a mailing address for you
to send one 5 minute sample of your
video or film on VHS or DVD, along with a $5 administrative fee (PER TITLE; check or money order - please, no credit
cards at this time). Please, send a Self Address Stamped Postcard so we may notify you of
receiving your work.
Once your work is accepted, you will receive an email limited promotion agreement within 2 weeks
should DR give its final approval to add your material and contact information to its library.
Should DR not be interested, you will be notified by email, and your materials will be returned
if you include a S.A.S.E. with proper postage. If an S.A.S.E. is not included, your materials will be destroyed.
