Behind the scenes on A Touch of Jole DockRat Entertainment began in 1993 when student film and video makers Benn Farrell, Jason Figueroa, Scott Bechberger, Bhriain Farrell and Chris Cooper ventured to produce Farrell's short form screenplay "The Running." They began their mishaps in film/video production under the name Comatose Picturez.

Figueroa, Farrell and Bechberger promo pic 1997 Since then, the original DockRats have been adding regular faces among its ranks like actress/producer Gina DiTullio, actor/producer/
director Tony Babin, actor/producer/director Tony Hughes and actor/producer Brian Felts, as well as director Allen Hart. DockRat Entertainment's features, after "The Running," have included the serial killer comedy/thriller "In The Darkness," written by Benn Farrell & Scott Bechberger, the Irish mob tale "Na Fen Liom," written by Jason Figueroa, the teenage vampire picture "Between Friends," written by Farrell, the adaptation of Landford Wilson's one-act play "Lady Bright," and the unfinished projects "A Touch of Jole" and "Wonderbred."

rehearsal of Loosen Up sketch In the late '90s, DR went in association with NapoleonLive productions to create the Rocky Mountain based television sketch comedy series "Loosen Up" with comedian/producer Napoleon Hudson. Currently, the show is on hiatus after two seasons.

DockRat Entertainment took to the theatrical stage in the summer of 2000, with the world premier of Farrell's full length play "24 Hours and Something Original," which was produced by Michael D. Stansbery and the Masquers at PPCC in Colorado Springs. The production had a successful three week run and received rave to mediocre reviews from local newspapers.

Behind the scenes on Between Friends Jason Figueroa resides in Colo Springs where he continues to work in Internet and networking fields. He recently married longtime girlfriend Jennifer Unick.

Scott Bechberger graduated Pikes Peak Community College with a degree in computer information systems. He also resides in Colo Springs with his wife Sonia and step daughter Brandi. He is currently developing a noir mystery Internet series with Farrell for DockRat Entertainment, tentatively titled "Dark Corners."

Tony Hughes, his wife dancer/actress Viviane Hughes and their four year old daughter Iris currently reside in Switzerland where he continues to write for the screen and develop upcoming projects.

Behind the scenes on Loosen Up Brian Felts graduated from the University of Colorado-CS with a degree in political science. He is now persuing his masters degree. Currently, Felts is a co-producing personality on an MP3 Movie Talk Show with DockRat Entertainment producer Farrell.

Benn Farrell continues to write for the stage and screen, as well as other freelance outlets, knocking out works such as "The War Over Tigger," "Losing Rebecca," "Slow Kidz at Play," a screenplay for "24 Hours and Something Original," "This Girl from Providence" and most recently "Mourning News." He recently returned from Le Vaud, Switzerland, where he finished his latest stageplay titled "Fat Farm." Currently, he resides in Colorado Springs once again, working on another screenplay adaptation and co-producing a weekly Internet movie talk show for Brian and Benn's Movie Corner.
